Our Story.

We are a small family business based in Cahersiveen, on the ring of Kerry, Ireland. When our children were small, Alice did a soap making class as she wanted to make natural products for her family. She went on to do more soap making courses in Ireland and London and after spending many years perfecting the range, Skellig Soaps was born.

Alice is also a professional photographer, so Skellig Soaps retail space in Cahersiveen also has a gallery of some of her work.

 Adriano, who is originally from Brazil, produced their website and is the creator of our aromatherapy candle range, produces the bath bombe range, moisturizers and lip balms. He loves gardening and is very interested in herbalism and their health benefits, and so provides botanicals for the soap range, all grown organically from their garden in Portmagee.

We opened our shop & soap factory in 2019, and are situated on Main Street, Cahersiveen, County Kerry on the Wild Atlantic way. Call in and say hi!

All our products are free from preservatives, artificial colors, perfumes or fragrances and never tested on animals! Instead, we use pure essential oils, herbs and natural additives like seaweed, cocoa, honey, oats, coffee, cinnamon, lavender, poppy seeds..it’s all good stuff!
