Cahersiveen street names, unframed

35.00

A lovely image of Cahersiveen to give as a gift or as a memory for yourself .

An A2 print of some of the street names of my hometown Cahersiveen, in County Kerry that I’ve been photographing recently .

Entitled “The town that climbs the mountains, Cahersiveen, County Kerry”.

I grew up and played on all these streets and have so many happy memories from here. I like the way the names are written in Irish and in English and they tell a story of a town through the years. If ever you’re in Kerry, Cahersiveen is a lovely market town with friendly and kind people.

As Sigerson Clifford said in his ballad about Cahersiveen ..”The town that climbs the mountain, and looks upon the sea. In sleeping time, or waking time, ’tis there I long to be..”
