These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Skellig Soaps website. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Skellig Soaps is an Irish business based in Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Products
We make every reasonable effort to display and describe our products accurately.
As many of our products are handmade in small batches, slight variations in colour, appearance, shape or finish may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and do not normally affect their use or quality.
Product packaging may also change occasionally.
Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We will not substitute another product without your agreement.
Where we cannot supply an ordered product, we will offer an appropriate alternative where possible or refund the amount paid for that product.
Prices & Payment
Prices shown on our website are in euro (€) unless otherwise stated.
The total cost of your order, including any applicable delivery charge, will be shown before you complete checkout.
Payment must be successfully completed before an online order can be processed.
Order Acceptance
After placing an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or website error has occurred, payment has not been successfully authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the relevant payment.
Delivery
We aim to prepare and dispatch orders as quickly as reasonably possible.
Estimated delivery times are:
Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland: approximately 3–5 working days.
Mainland UK: approximately 5–7 working days.
Mainland Europe and International: delivery times vary depending on destination.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we specifically agree otherwise.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate.
Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right to cancel eligible purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to give a reason.
After notifying us of a cancellation, eligible goods should be returned within the applicable statutory period.
Certain products may be excluded from the right to cancel, including personalised or custom-made products and sealed products which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by our returns policy.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@skelligsoaps.com.
Please include your order number and details of the problem. Photographs may be helpful where an item has been damaged during delivery.
Your rights in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right and are protected under applicable consumer law.
Gift Cards & Vouchers
Gift cards or vouchers purchased from Skellig Soaps are subject to any conditions stated when they are purchased.
Gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
If the value of an order exceeds the available gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another available payment method.
Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, prices and other information on our website are accurate.
Occasionally, errors may occur. If we discover an obvious error affecting an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to proceed on the corrected basis or cancel the affected order.

Personal information provided when using our website or placing an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our website, business practices or applicable law.
The Terms and Conditions applying to an order are those in effect when the order is placed.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights available to consumers under applicable Irish or European Union consumer protection law.
